1. You receive a formal notification from the dealership letting you know that you’re pre-approved and to call a number or contact the Special Finance Manager to find out the size of loan you’re pre-qualified for.

2. After thinking it over, and discovering your loan amount by calling that number, you get in contact with our Special Finance Manager and schedule a consultation.

3. You attend your consultation, where we discuss your situation and explain the processes involved. We take the time to carefully answer any questions you may have, and also help you select the best vehicle with respect to your preferences and budget.

From there, your experience will be equal to what our standard sales process is – the only major difference is that our Special Finance Manager assists you step-by-step, meaning they will take care of your needs from scheduling a consultation to making sure you’re satisfied after a purchase.

Pt. III Low-Pressure Sales

Through the previous articles on our Sales Process, it’s been mentioned you’re in control.

Or belief is that your vehicle is the second largest purchase in your life, the first being a home.

How you pay is completely up to you, and therefore is ultimately a decision we cannot make for you.

When you work with our Sales Consultants, their job is to find the right vehicle for you – the more information you can give up front, the easier it is.

You might be hesitant – “How is it low pressure when they want to know what my credit looks like, or want to know how much I can afford when I come in?”

Simply put, when you find a vehicle you want, we want to make sure that it’s not only the perfect match, but also that you can afford it as well.

We want to respect your budget by working within it. Your purchase decision is extremely important, and we want to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your choice.

Ultimately, through any step of our process, you can decide if it’s the right vehicle, and “pull the trigger” on making a purchase.

Pt. II Honest

“The pictures online looked great, but when you got there it was not quite what you expected.”

This is fairly common with some dealerships – they ‘dress up’ their vehicles to look good, finding angles that hide any blemishes, and generally avoid addressing the issues.

We have pictures of our vehicles on our sites – as many pictures as we can get. Not only do we suggest you take a look at the vehicle, we encourage you to test it out and see if it’s the right one for you.

And, if you’re still concerned, we provide an Autocheck report for all of our vehicles, free of charge.

Similar to other services that show you the vehicle’s history, Autocheck provides a score for each vehicle, 1-100 with 100 being the best. You stay in control of your decision.

It will also provide a range of acceptable scores, based on the vehicle’s age in comparison to similar vehicles.

Sounds like another piece of marketing hype, right? What if it were true?

Guess what, it is!

Let’s take a look at what makes it low-pressure, straightforward, and honest.

 Pt. I Simply Straightforward

Think of the process it takes to purchase a home.

 You decide to move for one of dozens of reasons, and start searching around for which neighborhood you’d like to live in.

Though you might take a spin around this neighborhood, it takes the help of a qualified Realtor to find the home perfect for you.

You locate this home, and take a tour – the Realtor lets you know about the house’s unique features and the value they can bring, and you get to decide if it’s the right one.

From there, the Realtor guides you to either more houses to look at, or through the paperwork process so that you’ll become the new owner.

Just switch the words “home” and “house” for “vehicle,” and “Realtor” with “Sales Consultant.” In a nutshell, you have the exact same process on our lot – it’s your investment, therefore you’re in control.

Now’s the Time

According to this article from AOL’s auto section, now is the best time to buy a new car. They had several good points, but we can think of a few more.

1. Fuel Economy – Of the same make and model, a newer vehicle almost always gets better mileage over previous model years.

The AOL article pointed out that this is due to technological advances under the hood – adding extra gears to the automatic transmission, and also making use of fuel injection systems and/or turbochargers to crank the power out of engines with fewer cylinders.

We’ll also add that other, non-engine related differences might help increase fuel economy.

More specifically, tires specifically tuned to work with particular models (the Buick Verano comes to mind), as well as Nitrogen tire inflation both work together to help keep tires better inflated, wearing down less, and reducing friction on the road.

2. Power – the same advances that give you better fuel economy give you more power. A turbocharged Buick Regal will perform better than one that isn’t, and who wouldn’t love the extra oomph from the engine of a new GMC Sierra when hauling a load?

3. Safety – thanks again to technological advances, it’s become affordable to place airbags in critical places, such as side curtains and thorax protection on most new Buick models.

It’s also become affordable for automatic traction control, as well as backup cameras and/or parking assist to come equipped on most new Buick and GMC models.

4. Convenience Features – Although On*Star has been standard on many new GM vehicles for the better part of a decade, the in-vehicle options have definitely advanced.

The GMC Acadia can be equipped with an in-dash navigation unit, and select Buicks and GMCs have the Intellilink Stereo System.

These systems can play AM, FM, XM, CD’s, stream Pandora and Stitcher radio stations from a paired iPhone or Android, play audio from a connected USB device, or via 1/8″ jack to audio device output.

Let’s not forget the heated and/or cooled seating, hands free Bluetooth phone pairing, On*Star back-up hands free calling, and parking assist!

5. Easier Financing – The economy’s been picking up, and the banks are willing to loan to more people than before. This means you have a much easier time of securing the lowest rates. There’s many different lending sources to choose from, and if cash is not an option, we can work with you on finding the best source for you… and your wallet.

6. Vehicle Protection – Gone are the days when there were only a handful of ways to protect your vehicle from both external and internal damage. Though several of those methods are still in play, there’s also a few more to consider (all without necessarily breaking the bank)

Extended service plans have become more customizable, guaranteeing you’ll have piece of mind for whatever’s lurking down the road. There’s an option for lost key care, saving you from those times when you’re just not sure where they are.

And if you have small and medium sized dents, we have a possibility of flawlessly removing them without damaging the paint.

What about protecting the paint job and the interior?

There’s different paint sealants to purchase, sure, and of course the infamous Scotch-Guard and Armor-All surface protectors. But, these items can require reapplication, and in some instances can do more harm than good if you’re not careful.

We offer a Commodore Coatings system that bonds on a molecular level to both the exterior and interior of the vehicle for lifetime protection. It comes with a 3 or 5 year warranty, and makes your vehicle extremely easy to clean.
